ORDERING FROM MEGADISC
**********************************************************************
STOP PRESS!!! NOTE NEW PRICES FOR PUBLIC DOMAIN DISKS
For current subscribers to Megadisc -
$2.50 each!
For non-subscribers -
$3.50 each!
These are the prices of any single PD disk in all the listings you'll
find in the ALL_THE_LISTINGS drawer, whether Fish Disks, Games Disks,
whatever. And of course you can get any quantity you like.
We're passing on to you, our users, these greater savings due to slight
reductions in disk prices and to encourage the greater spread of Public
Domain software through the community at as low a price as we can. The
offer of 11 disks for the price of 10 is still available, ie 11 disks for
$25 or $35, depending on whether you currently subscribe to Megadisc.
*********************************************************************
HOW TO ORDER
When you want to order anything from Megadisc, you can do it by
filling out the form provided in every Megadisc package (ORDER form) or
by simply writing a note to us, or by telephoning us on (02) 9593692 or
toll-free 008 227418 and using either BANKCARD, MASTERCARD or VISA, or
by sending us a FAX on (02) 9593525 if you have access to such device.
We get the disks out WITHIN 2 DAYS of receiving your order, but almost
always the next day. Dealers are welcome to order any of our products
at any time - we'll send out any PD disks you may want for re-copying
for your customers.
WHAT'S AVAILABLE FROM MEGADISC
* The
MEGADISC DISK-MAGAZINE SERIES
- 6 issues for $79 ($69 for re-subscribers), including 4 PD disks,
which can be ordered later.
- 3 issues for $45 ($40 for re-subscribers), including 2 PD disks.
Amongst the other disks we have are:
*
MEGADOS, THE AMIGADOS MANUAL-ON-DISK
Covering 1.2, 1.3 and ARP (AmigaDos Replacement Project),
this is a full reference manual, as well as containing a lot
of examples and tutorials on the many aspects of running your Amiga.
All kinds of techniques for using both Workbench and CLI are covered,
and it is suitable for both beginners and regular users of the Amiga.
It's also completely home-grown, ie, your editor wrote it over many a
long evening.
Cost is $19.95, or $13.95 if you're a subscriber to Megadisc.
*
Single back issue of Megadisc ($15)
You can also get 3 or 6 back issues at the lower Subscription
rates mentioned above, and get the extra PD disks too.
*
TRIAL PACK
Megadisc 26 and MEGADOS and Catalogue ($29)
*
THE ENTIRE MEGADISC SERIES
MEGADISC 1-26 plus 4 PD disks ($225) - this is 30 disks
covering the entire series to date. A terrific reference
for all things Amiga, which can be dipped into at leisure,
or which you can use with the Megadisc_Index on the Catalogue
disk to follow particular topics.
PUBLIC DOMAIN (PD) COLLECTION
We also have a collection of public domain disks totalling over 3000
now (check the PUBLIC_DOMAIN drawer for the latest PD disks that have arrived).
This is the best collection anywhere as far as I know, and we make sure
that there are no viruses lurking, and that everything is working on the
disk. If you ever find anything not working, please let us know and we'll
fix it if possible. You can browse through the Free Catalogue and order any of
the PD disks from us at any time - individual disks are $2.50 for current
subscribers (ie, anyone who currently has a subscription to Megadisc)
and $3.50 for non-subscribers - so you don't have to be a subscriber or
member to order Public domain disks from us.
Some of our PD packages:
* GAMES 10-disk pack - all the best PD games ($35).
* CLIP ART 10-PACK II - A second 10-pack full of excellent clip
art.
* TOPIK DISKS 1 - 45 - 45 disks broken up into "Top Pick"
Topics, covering every aspect of Public Domain
and fully iconised and documented, and
very easy to use. See the listing on the
catalogue. Assembled by Robert Lang.
* BEST OF PD 10-PACK - A selection of 10 PD disks, including
Fish, Amicus, Amigan, TBAG and
utilities, along with a Catalogue . A
good way to get into PD in general -

best of the Fish Disks.
* AMIGOZ COLLECTION - A Collection of PD disks containing material
not seen elsewhere, compiled by Graeme
Riddle.
